Fragments in Wax is an archive based on Instagram created by Kiernan Abbott, focused on reliving the music of generations gone by, through lost and found audio & visual materials from the past. Kiernan spends much of his time digging through crates for music and ephemera across all kinds of formats to search for the obscure and often underappreciated music from the 1970s through to the early 2000s.
Kiernan also specialises in Welsh language archive, dedicating time and effort to saving and sharing the music from his homeland in Wales. Expect to hear much of this archive and more as he journeys through the lost & found sounds from the past 8+ years of research, ranging from DIY Pop, cosmic folk, ethereal indie and much more.
